1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to FLOK Pet App! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our pet care application and services. By using our app, you agree to these terms.

OUR APPLICATION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL CONTENT ONLY. IT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL VETERINARY ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.
• Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health needs • Never ignore or delay veterinary advice because of app content • For emergencies: Contact your vet or emergency animal hospital immediately
2.2 Medical Information Limitations
• Information is general guidance only, not personalized medical advice • Every pet is unique - what works for one may not work for another • No guaranteed results from following any recommendations • We are not licensed veterinarians and cannot diagnose conditions
2.3 Emergency Situations
EMERGENCY WARNING: If your pet shows signs of distress, injury, or illness:
1. Contact your veterinarian immediately 2. Go to the nearest animal hospital 3. DO NOT rely solely on app information 4. Our geolocation feature can help find nearby services
3. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT
3.1 Age Requirements
• Minimum age: 12 years old • Ages 12-17: Parent/guardian supervision recommended • Parental consent: Required for users under 16 (EU residents)
3.2 Account Responsibilities
• Accurate information: Provide truthful account details • Security: Keep login credentials confidential • Authorized use only: Don't share account access • Notify us: Report unauthorized access immediately
4. SUBSCRIPTION & BILLING
4.1 Subscription Plans
• Free tier: Basic features available at no cost • Premium subscriptions: Monthly/annual paid plans • Free trials: May be offered at our discretion
4.2 Billing & Payments
• Payment methods: Through App Store only • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically • Cancellation: Must cancel 24+ hours before renewal through App Store • No pro-rating: Partial refunds not available

• iOS: Managed through App Store (Apple's refund policies apply) • Apple's Terms: Also apply to in-app purchases
4.4 Refund Policy
ELIGIBLE FOR REFUNDS:
• Technical issues preventing app use • Billing errors or unauthorized charges • Within 14 days
NOT ELIGIBLE:
• Change of mind after using premium features • Dissatisfaction with content quality • Device compatibility issues (check requirements)
5. ACCEPTABLE USE
5.1 Permitted Uses
• Personal use: For your own pets and household • Health tracking: Store and manage pet medical information • Photo storage: Upload and organize pet photos • Reviews: Share experiences with pet service providers • Community participation: Ask questions and share tips (future feature)
5.2 Prohibited Uses
• Commercial use: Without written permission • False information: Providing inaccurate pet or personal data • Harmful content: Uploading inappropriate or illegal material • Veterinary practice: Providing medical advice to others • System interference: Attempting to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer • Spam/harassment: Unwanted communications to other users
5.3 Content Standards
For photos and user content:
• Must relate to pets and animal care • No graphic or disturbing images • No copyrighted material without permission • No personal information of others visible • No advertising or commercial promotion
6. PET DATA & PHOTOS
6.1 Your Pet's Data Rights
• You own your pet's information - we're just storing it • Export rights: Download all data in standard formats • Deletion rights: Remove specific records anytime • Backup responsibility: Keep copies of important medical records
6.2 Photo & Media Guidelines
PHOTO BEST PRACTICES:
• High-quality images for better tracking • Clear photos of medical documents • Regular progress photos for health monitoring
PRIVACY REMINDERS:
• Remove personal information from backgrounds • Be mindful of location details in photos • Consider who might see photos in review features
6.3 Medical Records Handling
• Accuracy: You're responsible for accurate information entry • Updates: Keep vaccination and medical data current • Sharing: We may share with vets (only with your explicit consent) • Retention: Medical data kept for 5 years after deletion (industry standard)
7. GEOLOCATION & SERVICES
7.1 Location Features
Our app uses your location to:
• Find all pet-related places in your area (veterinary clinics, pet stores, groomers, etc.) • Locate emergency services such as animal hospitals • Emergency assistance in urgent situations • Personalized recommendations based on your area
7.2 Location Privacy
• Permission required: App will ask before accessing location • Precise location only: Never approximate or background tracking • Data retention: Location history not stored permanently • Disable anytime: Turn off in device settings
7.3 Emergency Location Use
EMERGENCY SCENARIOS: We may use your last known location to help emergency veterinary services find you, even if location services are disabled, in situations involving:
• Pet poisoning or toxicity • Severe injury or trauma • Life-threatening conditions
This is limited to genuine emergencies where time is critical.
8. REVIEWS SYSTEM
8.1 Review System
• Honest experiences: Share truthful reviews of pet services • Constructive feedback: Help other pet owners make decisions • No defamation: Don't make false or harmful statements • Business responses: Service providers can reply to reviews

• Amount you paid for subscription in past 12 months • Maximum €100 if you haven't paid anything
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
• Pet health outcomes or veterinary decisions • Missed appointments or medication reminders • Third-party service provider issues • Emergency response delays • Data loss due to device issues
11.3 Your Responsibilities
• Pet safety: Always prioritize your pet's immediate health needs • Backup data: Keep copies of important medical records • Device security: Protect your account credentials • Accurate information: Provide truthful data for effective service
12. TERMINATION
12.1 Termination by You
• Anytime: You can stop using the app anytime • Account deletion: Contact us to permanently delete the account • Subscription cancellation: Follow platform-specific procedures
12.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend/terminate your access if you:
• Violate these terms repeatedly • Engage in harmful or illegal activities • Provide false medical emergencies • Compromise app security
12.3 Effect of Termination
• Data retention: Account data deleted within 60 days • Medical records: May be retained longer for regulatory compliance • Subscription: No refunds for unused portions (except EU withdrawal rights)
